Alongside the likes of Noa Noa & Avoca, Odd Molly has, in just a few short years become a much sort after label, this cult swedish clothing brand has a make and mend folk art feel which has developed a huge following in the UK.

Having looked at how to keep your fashion statements chic and understated this season without looking like a wallflower, we turn to the most important aspect of any outfit. The shoes. Without doubt the Kurt Gieger Aster pump is the perfect partner to either of the Boden knitted dresses featured this week, with the jewelled tulip cut just getting the edge over the classic cut due to the detailing found on both.
With button detailing and a tactile suede texture, you can be sure the mixture of rich fabrics found on the Aster and in the Boden knitted dress range were made to be worn together. In fact, in our opinion, you would have to search for a long time to find such an ideal match. If the feel of the fabrics alone are not enough to convince you, the Aster is available in both black and purple, to compliment either the tulip or the classic style.
While it's true that there's is a lot of emphasis put on shoes to dazzle at this time of year, as with dresses, but there's a lot to be said for simple and practical choices that reflect the party and your role within it. After all there's little to be gained from turning up to the office party looking like you're expecting an Oscar. Taking the time to consider a smart and chic alternative will demonstrate your professional approach to work.
Of course if the party moves on afterwards, you can always have your gladrags on hold for later. Whatever becomes of the evening, you'll be glad of these comfortable and feminine flats which will definitely get you around on a plush carpet or a polished dance floor.
Tatty Devine is famous for unique and quirky accessories, which elevate jewellery to art status. The pair behind it all, Harriet Vine and Rosie Wolfenden, have no formal training as jewellers. They met studying Fine Art at Chelsea School of Art in 1996, and had planned to become artists until Harriet found some bags of leather samples on the way home from the pub one night. The duo made some leather cuffs to sell at Portobello and Spitalfields markets, and Tatty Devine was born! Vogue magazine soon caught on, as did Browns Focus and Harvey Nichols, and the girls launched their first official collection at London Fashion Week for Spring/Summer 2001. A headquarters was essential to the operation, and so the Brick Lane space opened in 2001, which has developed into a showroom, workshop, offices and shop.
In 2003 Rosie and Harriet began showing at Paris Fashion Week and the jewellery quickly went international!
The next move was opening a second shop in London's stylish Soho in February 2004. Both Tatty Devine shops have a huge selection of Tatty Devine products, from past and current collections, and lots of goodies made by other like-minded designers. If you visit either shop you'll also find one-offs and limited edition accessories not available anywhere else.
In 2006, Tatty Devine showed for the first time at New York Fashion Week. Tatty Devine's jewellery and accessories can now be found in over 100 stockists worldwide.
This year, the company has moved into a new studio and refurbished the Brick Lane shop with a spectacular custom-made floor!
Tatty Devine have forged partnerships with everyone from avant-garde Berlin girl group Chicks on Speed to catwalk conquerors Basso and Brooke and Jenny Packham, and shoe specialists Poste Mistress.
Two seasonal collections are launched each year, and the Best Of... collection gathers together all the popular pieces that hardcore Tatty Devine fans would faint without!check out the tatty devine website for the latest seasonal collection, the Best Of... collection, and our popular name necklaces.

This week our featured dress is -as you would expect- a party dress, but this classy number is so chic that no sleek office party or formal family get together is too good for it. The Boden range of knitted dresses are both effortlessly stylish and comfortable, making these dresses the right choice no matter how formal the occasion. The softness of their choice of fabrics and the extra warmth that this textile offers means that you'll feel relaxed no matter where you are.
Pulling off the season's most wanted style with ease and then simply adding its own extra festive pizazz, the Boden knitted tulip dress can show up those who have dressed up and demonstrate how keeping it simple -even in the festive period- always looks fantastic.
As an alternative to the classic little black dress, the muted charcoal and mid brown options available for this style allow for a little more expression and personality to come through so that you can still make a statement. Getting a look like this right is dependant on the right accessories of course, but with a Boden knitted tulip dress, you won't have to add too much outside of a fab pair of shoes, a bracelet, and a gorgeous pair of earrings.
If the tulip cut doesn't do your shape justice however, why not take a look at Boden's Chic knitted dress? This design features a fully lined skirt for extra weight and with its centre band emphasising your empire line, this dress will help to create your perfect silhouette. Available in magenta, marine melange and black you can choose to make a bold statement or stick to slimming black either way, you will always look confident and stylish, no matter what the occasion.
Dress 1: The search is over for the christmas party dress which is both incredibly chic and ridiculously comfortable. Semi fitted with gentle tulip shape skirt, ¾ length sleeves, Hand applied embellishment, Beautifully soft and drapey yarn with a subtle sheen, 85% wool 15% nylon, Hand wash only.
Dress 2: Quite simply a sexy knitted dress. A brand new shape equipped with a fully lined skirt. Semi fitted with a flattering low v-neck, Full length sleeves with bell shaped functional cuffs, Pretty gathers at shoulder, Silky knitted skirt lining, Knitted stripe trims at yoke and cuffs, Beautifully soft yarn with a subtle sheen, Body 100% extra fine merino wool, Lining 100% viscose, Hand wash or dry clean.
This week our featured dress is cut in the tulip style. Sometimes perceived as a difficult style to pull off, the tulip cut can leave room for manoeuvre when it comes to a few extra mince pies and even for a small bump, or it can hang to emphasis the lack of tummy underneath. The unusual cut and style of this dress means that you can use your natural womanly wiles to detract attention away from your tummy. With the right underwear you can achieve this without looking like you've made any effort.
Of course to get the right emphasis in the right place, you're going to need a bit of underwire and structure. With this in mind, why not invest in a beautiful lingerie piece to underpin your classy party look with a piece like the Venus underwired thong back body? This gorgeous support also makes for an ideal gift so why not let your man know in advance of the party what could make his evening last well into the night...
If you like the delicate trims on this piece but are not sold on the shape you'll be pleased to know that Panache has also created a Venus basque in the same style. This stunning piece will give you the shape you want and allow for a more creative approach to what panties you combine with your basic structure.

We Love Cath Kidson!
Cath Kidston Ltd. was founded in 1992 when Cath Kidston opened her first shop in Notting Hill. She started off selling old junk furniture and vintage fabrics, which sowed the seeds in creating her distinctive fabrics and product designs. The business has grown steadily since with an established fashion range.
There are now nine shops in the UK, seven of which are based in London. Successful openings in New York and Los Angeles have led to wider global interest – with a new store just opened in Tokyo.
The company has built up a cult following of very loyal customers. The products appeal to all ages – teenage girls love the bookbags and oilcloth accessories, their mums are fans of the clothing range and grandparents buy into the nostalgic qualities of fabrics and home furnishings.

Kate Moss, on the cover in the style of David Bowie's Aladdin Sane, pays tribute to the rock star inside by dressing up in some of his original costumes. Meanwhile "there is a touch of Sixties excess about the season's larger-than-life jewellery," says Calgary Avansino, and Judith Watt discovers how film director Luchino Visconti's intense vision inspired a generation of fashion designers, including Louis Vuitton and Dolce & Gabbana. Jane Birkin also returns to the pages of Vogue, still regarded as the singer, style icon, sex symbol and muse that she was in the Sixties.

Uttam clothing acquired a reputation for its vibrant colours, hand-stitched embroidery, and creative embellishments using beads, sequins and jewels, and became widely recognised for its eye-catching womenswear, childrenswear, and accessories with local, national, and international customers. The continuing growth and success of the brand led to the development of the Uttam Direct website, and the launch of the stylish new Yumi brand.
Inspired by the East, our designs embrace the traditions and beauty of Nepal, India, and Japan. We only sell clothes by Uttam and Yumi, whose styles are created by a design team renowned for using techniques such as patchwork, tie-dye, applique, hand-stitched beading and embroidery, and printed knitwear, chiffons, and silks. The ranges are developed with close contact with the factories - often involving several sample stages until the design is perfected. The Uttam and Yumi brands are both 'fast fashion' labels, which mean they provide the most up-to-date styles, colours, and fabrics.
